News from Grade 7

The NEED (National Energy Education Development) project has begun. Students working in groups have projects assigned to them.  Each group of students has a type of energy and performed a skit in front of the school. Next they will be preparing a presentation on conservation to present to each classroom.   There is a Washington, DC trip at the end of June if we win something in this National competition.

Mid term tests will take place the week of January 17th.

Math Counts team selection process continues this month.

Science projects are due on January 17.   Parents may view projects on Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30p.m.

Computer club is in full swing and has been busy helping around the school.

We have many great resources that go along with both our math and science textbooks for students that need enrichment or remediation.  Please check these websites out.  Students should be on these websites almost daily, doing math practice, or science review.  Both their math and science books are online.
