Welcome to Grade 6
Tiger Baseball Nick Syzskowski, our best catcher, one of our pitchers, 3b, ss and a good left handed batter with good speed. Joey D’ Agostino, our best 1b men, 3b with a good bat, not a pinch runner. Charlie Morelli, our best athlete catcher, of and maybe p. good speed and bat. Zach Black, has the most power with good speed,1b, best smile. Adrian Hubeny 2nd year player after taking a year off, of, 2b with good speed. Thomas Swinicki, 1st year player with good speed 2b, of. Those are our 8th graders.
7th grade Brendan Carroll, good speed, fielder, pitcher and hitter ss, 3b, p,of. Ryan Mills, one of the best hitters on last years team, can field, hit, run and we hope pitch, can play anywhere. Matt Mazzatto also a newcomer to the team 1b, of, maybe pitch.
6th grade Garrett Baker, one of our best pitchers, ss 3b, of, has a strong arm and a good bat. Michael Ranagan, a natural, smooth fielder, good contact hitter, good arm should pitch play 2b and is probably our best outfielder also, excellent baserunner. Cameron Rhodes has been a pleasant surprise can field and hit. 2b, of, and maybe catch, and last Alex Gentile is new to the team and is improving every practice, of and we looking for him to be a contact hitter.
Physical Education The President Fitness Test is winding down and all students in grades 2 - 8 will be given a index card with their results. WE are also getting ready for Field Day and end of the year activities of Mat Ball, Survivor Kick Ball and Dodge Ball, Crab Soccer, Golf, Jump Rope, Wiffle Ball,Frisbee,Tinickling and Dancing.
Student Council will have a meeting Wednesday, April 21, 2:30 - 3:00 to discuss the possibly of a Talent Show for grades 3 – 8. We will also induct Zach Black into the Council with a special ceremony.
